1. Examination System Overview

Geetai Institute of Management follows the examination structure prescribed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU). The assessment process includes:

  • Semester-End Examinations (Theory & Practical): Conducted by Dr. BAMU.

  • Internal Assessments & Continuous Evaluation: Conducted by the institute as per university regulations.

2. Examination Conduct & Responsibilities

All examination-related activities are coordinated through the Examination Cell of the institute, which operates in accordance with the guidelines issued by Dr. BAMU.

2.1 Examination Cell Coordination

  • Affiliating University: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU)

  • University Examinations Conducted By: Dr. BAMU

  • Exam Cell In-Charge: Mr. Dhiraj Dhole

3. Internal Assessments

Internal assessments are part of the continuous evaluation process, aiming to strengthen student engagement and academic performance.

3.1 Components of Internal Assessment

  • Mid-Semester Tests: Two per semester as per university guidelines

  • Assignments / Case Studies / Presentations

  • Practical Examinations (for applicable subjects)

  • Project Work / Fieldwork (as per curriculum requirements)

Marks obtained in these components are submitted to the university within the prescribed deadline.

4. Semester-End Examinations

These are final university examinations conducted by Dr. BAMU.

  • Exam Schedule & Format: Determined by the university

  • Hall Tickets: Issued by Dr. BAMU

  • Exam Registration: Students must register online as per university notifications

  • Examination Protocols: Must be strictly followed by all students

5. Evaluation & Result Declaration

  • Internal Marks Submission: Done by the institute to the university

  • Result Publication: By Dr. BAMU on their official portal

  • Mark Sheets & Degree Certificates: Issued by Dr. BAMU

6. Revaluation & Grievance Redressal

Students may apply for revaluation or rechecking if unsatisfied with their marks.

6.1 Revaluation Process

  • Applications to be submitted online through the university portal

  • Submission must be within the university-declared deadlines

  • Prescribed revaluation fees must be paid

  • Revised results, if any, will be updated by Dr. BAMU

7. Unfair Means & Examination Discipline

The institute follows a zero-tolerance policy toward examination malpractice.

🚫 Strictly Prohibited:

  • Possession of unauthorized materials (e.g., mobile phones, notes)

  • Copying, impersonation, or communication during exams

  • Any act that disturbs the sanctity of the examination process

Students found guilty of malpractice will face disciplinary action as per university norms.
